Advent 2019 Recap

Advent is the anticipation of the coming of Christ. Many people intentionally observe Advent during December as we anticipate Christmas. In a way, whether we realize it or not, we all observe Advent. We all know Christmas is on the way, we prepare for the big day, and we do a number of things in the month of December that we don’t normally do in other months. But we are not necessarily intentional about observing Advent. The month of December can feel like a whirlwind. Before we know it, Christmas has come and gone. The key to savoring this season is to be intentional about observing Advent by focusing on the gift of Jesus. That is what I try to do each year. And that is also what I had tried to do with my posts this month. So in case you want to savor Christmas a little longer, I have compiled my posts here.
