Every day is a gift!
Pray: Dear God, today we ask for Your strength in our gratitude walk. In 2 Corinthians 5:20, it says that we are Christ’s ambassadors. Wow! What an honor it is to be in this position. But this also means we have a big responsibility to spread the love of Jesus. Help us to remember that today in all of our interactions. Help us to be a positive influence on those around us, instead of allowing other people’s sour moods to bring us down. We have the Holy Spirit living inside of us. And through the power of the Holy Spirit we can be a shining light in a dark world. We can spread hope in our world and help other people to have hope as well. Lord, as Christians we know that there is always hope because You keep hope alive. Thank you, Lord. It is in Jesus’ name that we pray. Amen.
Practice Gratitude: Write down at least three things you are thankful for. I am thankful and honored that we are Christ’s ambassadors. I am thankful to know that we can change our own attitudes, and hopefully help others change theirs as well. And I am thankful that God keeps hope alive.
Praise. Here is today’s song! Enjoy! You Keep Hope Alive by Mandisa and Jon Reddick
Please share in the comments if today’s reading spoke to you. Or you may add a prayer, your gratitude list, praise, etc.

Keep Hope Alive!! INR heard the song many times on the radio, but this is the first time I saw the artists. Love that song too! The beautiful picture just makes me long to be able to travel again, to see this beautiful earth God created for our enjoyment.
Today, I’m grateful for my family and friends. They make this life journey more rich. Just imagine if we were Adam. All these animals that you give names, but no one that looked like you. It was get pretty lonely! Thank God, for His perfect plan to create Eve!! In my mind Adam said, “Wow! That’s all for me!! She’s part of me!! She’s my Woman because she was taken out of Me!”

Mandisa has a beautiful voice which really comes through in this song. I hope you are able to get back to your traveling soon! So true! God’s plans are always perfect. And when He created the world and all that it consists of, it’s amazing that He thought of every tiny detail. And it’s so wonderful that He even gave us friends and family to fellowship with.

Hope is a very powerful state. Without it, people can get stuck in a vortex of confusion and negativity. With it, our outlook is optimistic, sometimes fervently so. Thanks to God for blessing us all with hope!

I love how you said in your prayer to “help us to be a positive influence on those around us, instead of allowing other people’s sour moods to bring us down”. There are so many sour moods in the world right now that I’m kind of glad we are supposed to be social distancing and staying home! But I hope that when I do go out people can see Jesus in my smile or in my voice when I tell them to have a blessed day.

Good point about social distancing! There are some benefits to it. But I agree with you 100%. I too long to reflect Jesus! I am thankful we can rely on the Holy Spirit living inside of us to help us do that. Thanks for commenting, Michelle. It is always wonderful to hear from you! 🙂
