Gratitude Challenge Day 15

Pray: Dear Lord, today we ask You to help us as we plant seeds in our own lives and in the lives of those around us. Today we will choose to live with gratitude, optimism, love, and light. Today we will be diligent and consistent, watching our thoughts, words, and actions. Father, we pray that for today we can be different. For today, we want to let go of negativity and discouragement. We can do this with the strength of the Holy Spirit living inside of us. And we believe that each time we make a choice to live this way, we are planting seeds of hope, joy, faith, and love. Each day we can make a choice to live in gratitude and joy. Each day we have Your amazing grace to keep us going. Each day we turn to You and soak in Your love. This in turn, helps us to spread Your love in our lives. Lord, we also pray that You help us to savor this Sabbath day. Help us to focus on worship and on rest. Help us to make this a lasting habit in our lives, every Sabbath. We know You gave us the Sabbath as a gift and we long to treasure it as You intended. Our main goal today and every day is to draw closer to You. And by honoring the Sabbath and focusing on You, we will be planting seeds in our relationship with You. Soon we will have a rich crop overflowing with peace and joy, because of the time we committed to You. Thank You, Lord, for Your help as we continue on this journey. In Jesus’ precious name we pray, Amen.

Practice Gratitude: What are you thankful for today? I am thankful for the opportunity to plant seeds of hope, joy, faith, and love. I am thankful for Amazing Grace. I am thankful for the power of the Holy Spirit living inside each of us. And I am thankful for the Sabbath, a day of rest and of worship.

Praise. Here is today’s song! Enjoy! Amazing Grace performed by Nicole C. Mullen

Please share in the comments if today’s reading spoke to you. Or you may add a prayer, your gratitude list, praise, etc.

  1. I am thankful for the Sabbath too.
For a day where we rest and can gather together and worship ( this year made me realise what a blessing it is).
For the gifts that the spirit bestows on us to be of service to each other and especially to God.
For the blessing of pastors in my church who are diligent in what God has called them to do.
    Blessings Bridget 💙

  2. Today is the Lord’s Day! And I grateful to be able to worship Him in spirit and truth in a free country…but freedom isn’t cheap! Today’s scripture reading reminds us to be generous. I’m so grateful how the Lord has blessed my life in SO many ways that I can’t count them. There are two people that I want to recognize today: Lynn Bledsoe and Jim McLamb, MD. They were gifts in my life from God. I’ll share a very lengthy post shortly, but for this moment, I want to acknowledge my gratitude for them and the impact they’ve had on my life for God’s glory and my good.
