Gratitude Challenge Day 29

Pray: Dear Lord, we are so thankful for another beautiful day, another day to spend with You, another day in our gratitude walk, and another lovely sabbath. We thank You for this day and we hand it over to You. We seek to honor You in all that we do today. We will soak in Your love today, as our hearts overflow with thanksgiving and gratitude. There are so many blessings in our lives. But one in particular for which we want to express our thanks is Jesus. Just the sound of His beautiful name brings us joy. Jesus, who paid all our debts. Jesus, who washed us clean. Jesus, who wiped away our sins. Jesus, who made us righteous in Your eyes. Lord, when we think about what we deserve, and then remember that Jesus redeemed us, we are so overwhelmed. There is no way we could ever repay this gift. But we are so thankful that we don’t have to. This is something You gave us freely, because of Your tremendous love. Lord, we love You so much for the beautiful gift of salvation. We can never say “thank You” enough for this one thing. But, each and every day, we will still express our gratitude. We give thanks in Jesus’ most beautiful name, Amen.

Practice Gratitude: What are you grateful for? I am grateful for a sabbath. I am grateful for a long weekend. I am grateful for the incredible gift of salvation. I am grateful for Jesus. And I am grateful for the power of His beautiful name.

  1. I’m thankful for Jesus. God was willing to make the ULTIMATE sacrifice, sending His dearly loved Son to earth for the SOUL purpose of dying for my sins!! Now that’s LOVE ❤️ ❤️❤️.

I’m grateful the Lord took Pastor George Hone yesterday. We will grieve his passing, but we rejoice in the knowledge that he’s no longer suffering and he’s in the presence of our Almighty Father 😇.

  2. I am thankful for Jesus too and for salvation.
For a wonderful day today. Even though I did quite a bit of pending house work today, It is nice to not have a routine and I enjoyed that today.
For the blessing of rain, although I am not a fan of getting wet in the rain, I understand the importance and value of it.
    Blessings my friend 💙
I wanted to share a song with you. You might already know it. But I know you love you worship music and this one is just so beautiful and I thought to share it with you. It is called ‘Goodness of God’ sung by Jenn Johnson.

    • I like the point you made about not having a routine. House work isn’t always something we look forward to. But you still found it pleasant because of the surrounding circumstances. And similarly your point about the rain being of value. If we could always try to look at things, especially unpleasant things, from a new perspective, I imagine this would help our attitudes to change. That is a beautiful way to see life. Thanks for sharing that.
And thank you so much for sharing the song. I just listened to it. You are right, it is so beautiful. I will be adding this to my playlist. Thank you!
And blessings to you too, dear friend! ❤️
