Gratitude Challenge 2023 – Day 15
Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes. Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings. – Psalm 17:7-8
Dear Heavenly Father, we are so thankful for Your great love. You love us so much and You even call us the apple of Your eye. Where would we be if it wasn’t for the love of God? Our stories could have been so different, but Your love changed it all. You adopted us into Your family and You gave us new meaning. We are so thankful for You and Your unfailing love. In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
I’m grateful for the great love of God. I’m grateful that my hubby walked the dogs in the drizzle yesterday so I wouldn’t have to go out in the wet weather. And I’m grateful for the kind people I work with.

Today, I’m grateful for healing. Even though I’ve got some sort of upper respiratory infection, I know that I can get better. That while this sickness is inconvenient, it is only temporary.

This time of year, as it’s getting colder outside, I’m thankful for a warm and safe home. And proper winter clothing to keep me warm. God’s love is endless and amazing! 🥰

So true. And there are many homeless families who don’t have a roof or a coat. We really are blessed. And I’m thankful God can work through us to help bless those in need.

I’m grateful for my health and time to practice self care. I also didn’t realize the phrase “apple of your eye” originated in Psalms. I’m thankful for a God who sees me that way and that I’m still learning.

Amen. I love all that you said. I’m so glad you are at a point where you can be thankful for your health. And I appreciate the reminder to practice self care. It’s fun to stumble upon things like this in the Bible. I’m still learning too. I need to do a better job of remembering that God sees me that way. I think if we realized how loved we are, it would change everything.

I am thankful for God who considers us as the apple of his eye.
I am thankful for rest. I am in need of it( the end if the year makes me crave a break from routine and I am looking forward to an extended summer break). But for now am thankful that I can take some mini ones and look after myself.

I’m thankful for the weekend! I’m subbing this afternoon and have most of this week so a break will be nice! The kids are fun but boy do they have high energy and a lot to chat about, even at times when it should be quiet!!!😂❤️
