Gratitude Challenge 2023 – Day 21
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. – Psalm 19:1
God, when we look around at the beauty in Your creation, we are in awe. How can we not see You everywhere? How can we not believe You are on the throne? How can we not feel loved, with all of the blessings in our lives? We are so grateful for all that You are and all that You do. We love You, Lord! In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
I’m grateful for the beauty in creation, as it reminds me how mighty God is and that God is always there. I’m also grateful that God has always provided a roof over my head, food on my table, and clothes on my back.

It is a lovely verse and a good reminder of how glorious God is! This picture was taken from our front yard. But you can see some of our neighbors’ yards too. And across the street is a cow pasture. 💚

The heavens are a glimpse into the majesty and greatness of our God! He is our awesome Creator. This reminds me that I’m thankful for my emails from NASA telling me when the ISS is flying over. It nice to go out and see it. Also thankful for the planets and other events I have had the opportunity to view.

Oh how neat! I will have to sign up for those emails. It’s astonishing to think about how big the galaxy is and how God created every single star. And in Psalm 147:4 it says, “He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.” Our God is magnificent 🙌

The beauty in creation for me always points to the greatness of God.
I am thankful for Air-conditioning, have a heatwave this week and it is hot 🥵. I know we can just turn it on without thinking as often it is such a part of our lives but the power was out for some repair work and we felt that heat, I am reminded to not take it for granted.

A good point! There are many things we don’t think about until we have to do without them. Thank God for all the modern conveniences. I hope things cool off soon.

I am grateful that my hubby washed the dishes for me after I cooked the big Thanksgiving meal.
