Gratitude Challenge 2023 – Day 22

Photo taken September 19, 2023

The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. – Psalm 19:7-10

God, we are thankful for Your Word. Each day in this gratitude challenge, we have been reminded of the beauty found in Scripture. We are thankful You gave us a guidebook to read daily and help us on our paths. Your Word is more precious than gold. The fact that You have given us this special gift in the Bible, we are reminded that You love us so much. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.

I’m thankful for the Bible. And I’m thankful for the Psalms, as they bring special joy and comfort in all seasons of life.

What are you grateful for today?

  1. We are indeed blessed to have God’s word that guides us to healthy thoughts and healthy living (in Him), especially in a world bent on self-indulgent living.

  3. The Bible is truly a gift. And just this morning at my women’s Bible study we were talking about the Psalms. I too am thankful for the word of God and the ease with which we can have access to it.

    • Yes we really are blessed to have the Word of God. And God bless those who are translating it to every language and to bringing it to the most remote corners of the world. What a blessing to share this priceless gift with those who have never experienced it before.
