Every day is a gift!
Good morning! Today is Day 2 of the Redeemed Challenge! In Chapter 2 of You Are Redeemed, we read how we are God’s masterpiece. Often times we each tend to focus on our own flaws and weaknesses. We think that because we aren’t perfect, we aren’t of value. But God did make us each perfectly unique. We should learn to embrace our quirks because they make us one of a kind. And remember that you also have a lot of wonderful strengths and talents that make you shine.

Don’t forget to listen to the song for the day!!!!!!! You Say by Lauren Daigle
And here is the smartphone wallpaper image for the day. By the way, I heard from an Android user yesterday who said she was able to take a screenshot of the picture. From there you should be able to make it your wallpaper. Hope this helps!
It’s such a blessing to know God creates a new masterpiece in the sky every day. Just think how He wants to create something new in ME each day.

Exactly! We are always taking pictures of the sunset because it’s always so beautiful and each day is different. God’s artwork. But you are God’s artwork as well! 💜

Yes! When we think otherwise, we have to remember that the enemy gets in our head and tries to make us focus on our flaws. But God sees us as a beautiful, one-of-a-kind masterpiece. 💜

So true that the enemy loves it when we focus on our flaws.

Thanks for the reminder that I am His masterpiece and that it has nothing to do with what I did. In times of feeling worthless and ineffective I just need to remember I am somebody because I am the Kings daughter. In the song of the day it always speaks to me as I seldom feel I “fit in” so her Words remind me I always have God and that those feelings are from the enemy.

Yes, you are exactly right! The enemy is the one who wants us to feel worthless and ineffective. But you belong to the King of Kings, who loves you beyond measure! And He sees you as a beautiful masterpiece 💜

Yes, feelings can seem so real and make us think the worst at times. But we have to remind ourselves that feelings can lie to us. What God says about you is the ultimate truth! 💜

I too often feel like a messy mistake instead of a masterpiece. I need to remember that God created volcanos and swamps and mud; He isn’t bothered by messy, and He sent His Only Begotten Son to cover the mistakes.

One of my favorite quotes is by Ann Voskamp: “What messes our life up most is the expectation of what our life is supposed to look like.” For me, this holds true in many areas. It could be something big, like the fact that I wish I had children. Or it could be small every day things, like a messy life. So I agree with you 100%. We have to overcome the mindset that messy is bad. Things might not go the way we would like, but every moment still holds perfection, as long as we are held by our Savior 💜

I believe many times it’s the enemy who puts the negative thoughts in our heads. He wants us to see ourselves as unworthy. So when those thoughts try to take root, remind yourself that you are God’s masterpiece 💜
