Walking With God 2021 Recap

Confession: I have a purse with a monogram on it… but the monogram does not equate to my initials. The letters are WWG. This is a little nudge, and ultimately a comforting reminder, to “Walk With God.” It doesn’t just remind me to walk with God. It also feels like a warm embrace to know that I am walking with God. I can face whatever comes my way each day, with Him by my side.

Over on the Christians Read blog, I had a series on walking with God. I initially wrote one post about walking with God in February. But over the past several weeks I have expanded on it a bit. I looked at walking with God from different angles, using Psalm 23 as a theme. If you are interested in reading those posts, I have the links below.

  1. Love how you tied Psalm 23 and walking with God. Pursuing Him every day, having our desires met in Him, that contentment and peace that can come only from Him. How we can with confidence and purpose step through life rather than life dragging us along. Knowing that God is in our future so we don’t have to worry about what lies ahead. Protected by Him and ultimate being a part of His family.
This was so encouraging and lovely to read Bridget.
    Blessings my friend 🌺🤗

    • Thank you for taking the time to read these. I don’t take it lightly when I know how busy we all are…. When we are consistently conscious of the fact that we Walk With God each day, I think this really helps change our perspectives on so many things. Our fears and doubts don’t seem as intimidating. And we can have that peace that surpasses understanding. Thank you! I am glad this was encouraging. And Blessings to you too, dear friend! 💕🌸

  2. WWG…great idea. ❤️ Sweet way to bring in conversation too when people know your initials aren’t those and then wander what it stands for.

  4. I love the idea of putting WWG on your purse as a reminder! These are all great posts! I know some days I feel like I’m walking alone, but deep in my heart I know He’s there beside me. My favorite poem is Footprint in the Sand because it reminds me that when I feel alone it’s then that He’s carrying me. ❤️

    • I know what you mean. Some days can be hard and we might think that God forgot about us. But He will never leave us nor forsake us. It is so comforting to remember He is carrying us. And thank you for reminding me about that poem. My grandmother used to have it on her wall. But I have not read it / seen it in a very long time. I think that would be something nice to keep around the house, like my grandmother did. 🥰
