The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! …. Therefore I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing the praises of your name. – Psalm 18:46,49

Lord, we are thankful for the power of praise. We are thankful for praise, because not only does it bring glory to You, but it also lifts our hearts as well. When the enemy tries to bring us down, singing Your praises turns things around. Thank you, God! May praises always be on our lips. In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.

I’m thankful for the power of praise. I’m thankful for unexpectedly running into a former coworker this weekend. And I’m thankful for times when we come across genuinely kind and helpful people.

  1. Praise and a grateful heart go hand in hand. It’s an honor to bring praise and glory to our God. Speaking of former coworkers, a former coworker of mine who retired last year recently invited me to her church. I really enjoyed it and plan to visit again soon. I was really thankful for the service and the fellowship afterwards that we had.

  2. Praise is wonderful to thank God for! I have a sweet friend who’s beginning voice lessons today with an older woman in our church. I’m thankful for the opportunity for the two of them to meet up for singing—surely worship music will happen within those lessons!!❤️

    I am also thankful for the reminder today that he is a God who acts on our behalf and for our good.
