Gratitude Challenge Day 10

Good Morning, Everyone! Today is Day 10 of the Gratitude Challenge! Check out today’s Gratitude Challenge video HERE.

Can you believe Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away? This is one of America’s favorite holidays. Unfortunately, there is also some negativity surrounding it. In my book and in the video, I mention how the Black Friday sales can create fights at the stores. Another thing that might also put a damper on this day is conflicts within the family. This can make Thanksgiving feel more of a burden than a gift. As we prepare our homes and our kitchens for this day, try to keep in mind that while we might not be able to change everyone, we can change our own attitudes by practicing gratitude. And we can pray that this in turn will have an impact on those around us. Too often we let those around us bring us down. But we have to learn to be the light that brings other people up. We get to decide how we will feel. So today let’s choose to be happy. Please share in the comments if anything in today’s reading or video hit home with you!

(In case you are just joining the Gratitude Challenge, here’s the scoop: If you want to join the Gratitude Challenge, then I invite you to grab a copy of my book Every Day is a Gift on Amazon. Throughout the month of November read the chapter for that day, and then touch base with me here and on social media for a corresponding video and meme. Here are links to follow me throughout the challenge: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Google Plus)
