Every day is a gift!
Good morning! Today is Day 4 of the Redeemed Challenge! In today’s chapter of the book, we read that we became children of God when we gave our hearts to Him. I hope this reminder brightens your day. No matter what you are facing today, let this knowledge catapult you to a brighter tomorrow. Your Father is the King of Kings!

Don’t forget to listen to the song for the day!!!!!!! Hello My Name Is by Matthew West
And here is the smartphone wallpaper image for the day:
What was so amazing from this chapter was how I saw myself so differently. Daily I see myself as a mom, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, neighbor, volunteer, etc. All these roles cause me to be the responsible one, the one in charge, the one turned to for this or that. But today I saw myself as a child. Instead of the comforter, I felt comforted. Instead of being in charge, I felt led. As the CHILD of God all I need do is let go and let my Heavenly Father take control. It is comforting to be so loved and cared for and so awesome knowing my Father is King and loves ALL His children.

Yes! I love the way you put this! And it does take a lot of pressure off of our shoulders when we remember that He is our Shepherd and we are His sheep. How wonderful it is to know that He is there to love us, guide us, care for us, and protect us. 💜

I love this song! I’ve grown up believing I’m a child of God. However, what struck me was the word ADORED. I’ve always dreamed of being adored, beloved. I changed the sentence for today slightly “I am a beloved child of God.”

I love that! Great idea! You are right, it is so awesome to know that we are beloved and adored by God! The greatest love story in history is the one where He rescued us! 💜

I love what Lorraine said!! I’m really enjoying this challenge. 😀 I think it’s hard sometimes to slow down on focus on just being His. Especially when life demands so much out of us. This is something I need to work on.

I know what you mean! When we are constantly going, going, going, it’s like we are just trying to keep our heads above water. This makes it difficult to stop and rest in His presence. I hope and pray throughout this month that you are able to soak in His love! 💜

reading all these comments , took me way back when I was a little girl , my father drove me and my 2 brothers to Sunday school (only one car in a family then) when going home , mama had lunch waiting , we were so excited to tell mama & papa all about , a little baby named Jesus. later , I was about 12yrs old , I had to walk to church , it was getting dark , I was getting a little uneasy, thinking
I’m all alone , I started walking a little faster, I wasn’t too far from home . and all of a sudden ,
(honest to goodness ) I felt my hand tighten , I looked around , no one was there . I smiled and said ,thank you Dear Lord . and even though , I did forget that , from time to time , I always had a good feeling remembering. . Thank you & your comments for helping me , bring that time to light again. when we talk to him everyday, he doesn’t answer us , in different ways , knowing he is there , is what we need.
Thank you all . alon
