Every day is a gift!
I can’t believe we have reached the end of the Whole Heart Challenge. I have enjoyed walking through this with you, and I hope you have enjoyed it too. I hope reading through Giving God Your Whole Heart has given you a new passion in your spiritual walk.
When I originally planned to hold this challenge, I had no idea that the whole world would be walking through uncertain times. But God knew. He knew we would need to draw closer to Him in this storm. He knew we would need to learn to seek Him, to trust Him, and to give Him control of our lives. I truly hope that walking through this challenge not only helped you draw closer to God, but also gave you comfort through this difficult season.
One of the things I touched on in the final chapter of the book was that we have a decision to make. Will you give God your whole heart? This, in fact, might be something we will have to decide each day. Or perhaps from one moment to the next. Giving God your whole heart is a lifelong journey. But I can promise you that you will never regret it. You will have a sense of peace in your life because you will know that you followed the right path. And you will come to fully realize just how much God loves you, which in turn will only make you want to give Him your whole heart even more. You cannot lose when you give God your whole heart. He longs to have a relationship with you. He wants to be in your life. Once you fully surrender to Him, you will feel freer than you ever have before. He will bring happiness and contentment into your life. He loves you and cares for you, and only wants what is best for you. So I hope you will decide to give God your whole heart!

Don’t forget to listen to today’s song. I never get tired of this song. It is a favorite of mine. Walk With Me by Jesus Culture
Cannot believe we went through the book already. I felt it went fast but this month has been a bit of a chaotic blur with all that is going on.
I love Psalm 121. We always read it as a prayer before anyone in the family travels or we all travel together.
I love the prayer that you wrote to say in the morning. It is so beautiful.
I really enjoyed going through this book with you and it has been a wonderful reminder to give my whole heart to God.
Blessings 😊💙

Yes the challenge did seem to go by so quickly. But you’re right, we all have dealt with a lot of chaos these past few weeks. I love the idea of reading Psalm 121 as a prayer when traveling. Thanks for sharing that. And I am glad you liked the prayer in the book. I think it covers pretty much anything that we might encounter in our day. And it is a good reminder to cling to Him in each moment. I am so honored that you walked through this challenge with me. It truly has been a pleasure. And I always gained new insight from your comments. “As iron sharpens iron!” God bless you and your family. 💜✝️💜

The book tied in perfectly with my work to forgive, others and myself. Tonight, I realized I asking God to tell me what I need to change to become who He wants me to be. I’m going on an adventure. 🙂

I love that mountain verse. I was just commenting on someone’s blog today about a time when I was looking at life’s mountains so cynically and God showed me that I was looking at them all wrong.
We were driving to a doctor’s appointment and the view of the mountains was so amazing! I said to Andrew, “Look at those mountains!” and he said to me, “I can’t. I’m driving.” Those words really spoke to me. Actually mine and his words together really spoke to me. I thought God was telling me to keep on driving. A month later I was stressing about those mountains again and God spoke to my heart, “You’re not the one doing the driving. I am.” I love this moment with the Lord. I definitely look at mountains a little differently now. So that verse about where does my help come from is very comforting. ☺
I know He’s working. Even on my birthday I could see Him working. I was beat and down that some people forgot about me. (I don’t mean you. You had no way of knowing.) But I know God doesn’t forget, so there was a surprising moment of hope.

What a powerful story about the mountains! Wow! That gave me goose bumps! Thank you for sharing that!! How amazing that God is always there and cares so much to nudge us and do amazing work in our lives! I am sorry that some people forgot about your birthday. I do understand how you felt. When I turned 40 I thought there would be a big splash, but there was very little action. I think those that knew it was my birthday didn’t put it together what age I was. But I am so very glad that no matter what people do, we know God still loves us so much! Thank you for commenting. I am always glad to hear from you. You are a blessing! ❤️

Yes, I think we are more sensitive on our birthdays. We expect a little more and sometimes can get sort of a regular day. You are so welcome. You are a blessing, too, Bridget. ❤
