Gratitude Challenge 2023 – Day 2
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. – Psalm 4:8
Dear God, we are so thankful that we can turn to You when we need peace and safety. Even when we have worries, we can rest in Your arms. There is no safer place to be. When we let go, please hold on to us. Thank You, Lord! In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
I’m grateful for the Lord’s peace and safety. I’m grateful we can all meet here together, while we all live many miles apart. And I am thankful for my parents. ♥️

I am grateful for my disciple group. I prayed for more Godly women in my life and God gave me an entire group. We have fellowship, dive into God’s Word, encourage each other and pray for one another in good times and bad. It is truly a blessing.

I’m thankful peace is found in God alone, because He’s the most consistent, reliable, unchanging Source of hope and love we’ll ever have!! We can always count on our Lord.

I agree! I’m so glad God holds on to us too. I don’t know where I’d be without Him. You’re welcome, Tina. I know many of us are dealing with different worries and struggles right now, and gratitude can help lift our spirits and focus on the Lord. 🙏🙌

I am grateful for my Bible study group, the Opportunity to lead the group and the blessing that comes from being a part of it.

It’s such a blessing to be surrounded with fellow Christians and to study the Word with them. It’s a special gift to grow and learn together.

I’m grateful for my midweek study group. I used to always complain about having to drag myself out, but I also noticed I always came away feeling filled. So I’ve finally stopped complaining and just go and enjoy. 🙂

I know what you mean. There are times when I don’t feel like doing something, but then I am glad I pushed myself. And what a blessing to be able to study God’s Word with friends. 🤗

Thank you for sharing this verse. It’s a perfect ending to my evening as I prepare to go to sleep. I was reflecting earlier today and thanking God for the grants that assisted me with the costs for graduate school.
