Gratitude Challenge 2023 – Day 4
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. – Psalm 5:11
Dear God, even when the storms are rough, we are so thankful we can turn to You. You are our refuge and our protection. What peace we find in You. We rejoice because we know that You are always there for us. You are always looking out for us. And anytime we run to You, You are waiting with arms wide open. We are so thankful for You, God! In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
I’m thankful that God is my refuge and my protection. I’m thankful to rejoice in Him, even in tough times, because He spreads His protection over us. And I am thankful for my hubby.

David, I agree. I’m thankful for blogger friends like you too. It’s wonderful how we have this community of Christians on WordPress. And we can help encourage one another. And I also agree that it is so comforting to know that God cares about the things we are worried about. I don’t always do a good job of remembering that though. Sometimes I try to take on my concerns all by myself. So thank you for that reminder to turn to Him! I hope you and your wife also have a wonderful weekend. And God bless you too!

I am thankful for God’s protection and the reassurance that comes from knowing that I can turn to him always as he is my refuge.

I am grateful for the telephone. Malik is so far away in Hawaii but I am blessed each time we are able to talk on the phone. Sometimes about important things but most time about nothing. I love watching God move in him and through him. And also when God shows me what him and his family need prayer for.

Wow Hawaii! That’s amazing. I agree. What a blessing to be able to speak to our loved ones on the phone who are thousands of miles away. And that’s awesome about seeing God move. And God showing you what to pray for. God is so good!! 🙌♥️

I’m thankful our foreign exchange student (from Germany) that we hosted back in 2016/17 is still a close part of our lives and is here visiting currently.❤️

Oh wow, that’s such a blessing to have that relationship with your foreign exchange student. On the photo – Yes! All the pictures I have posted in the gratitude challenge were taken from my yard. Sometimes you can see our neighbors’ houses in them. Almost every day, unless it’s cloudy, there are beautiful sunsets. What a glorious reminder of God and how awesome He is! 🙏♥️🙌

I love that…our neighbors used to have horses that would come up to the back of our property, my kids begged for a horse of their own and I told them just pretend those are ours!!😂

Haha! A horse to pet and look at, maybe feed an apple once in awhile. But you don’t have to worry about the rest of the upkeep and expense 😁
