Gratitude Challenge 2023 – Day 5

The Lord has heard my cry for mercy; the Lord accepts my prayer.- Psalm 6:9

Lord, we are so thankful You hear our prayers and our cries. What a gift and privilege it is to pray in Jesus’s name. His name is above all other names and holds power. Sometimes in our own lives, or the lives of our loved ones, we feel helpless. But we always have prayer and that is our best weapon. So today we lay our worries at Your feet and we pray in Jesus’s name.

I’m grateful for the power of prayer. I’m grateful for the gift and privilege of praying in the name of Jesus. And I’m grateful for my sisters.

What are you grateful for today?

    • Yes!! I’m so thankful to know that God wants us to bring our worries to Him. He cares about what we are going through. And He might not always answer the way we want, or as quickly as we want, but we can still trust that the Lord is working! 🙌

    • Crystal, I love that you were feeling grateful for God. There are many reasons we can name. And I hope this month helps us all to search for them, like searching for treasure. 🤗♥️

  1. It’s so amazing that God hears our prayers and answers them. I am thankful that He cares so much about every single detail of our lives. And that we can be completely honest with Him in prayer.

  2. I am grateful for prayer, prayer warriors and this song. Two friends sent this song to me after my son had an accident and was in ICU. It reminded me how much my son and I were loved and cared for, who God was and where He was in my son’s situation. It helped a desperate, scared mom find peace. The prayers led to supernatural healing (drs words, not mine). I know first hand what prayer does and Im so so grateful God wants to communicate with us.

  3. I’m thankful for His word..that I can read it and hide it in my heart..and it sticks with me, through the power of the Holy Spirit I’m gently reminded and comforted of truth at just the right time.
