Gratitude Challenge 2023 – Day 8

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. – Psalm 9:1-2

Dear God, You deserve all praise, today and every day. You are worthy. You are faithful and You are unchanging. No matter what is going on in our lives, we can turn to You. You are in our stories. Even the messy and broken pieces, we are so thankful to know You’re there. You will see us through the storms and bring blessings on the other side. You truly are worthy of all the glory, Lord. We love You! In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.

I’m grateful that God is in my story. I’m grateful for books. 📚 And I’m grateful for coffee and a working coffee maker. (Ours recently broke and we had to improvise until we got a new one.) ☕️

    I am thankful for the easier access we now have to scriptural lessons and teachings that help us stay in the word and grow.
    It is funny that your coffee machine broke a little while back. Ours just died on us and we are making do while we sort this out 😁.

    • Such a good point about access to scriptural lessons and teachings. We do have so many conveniences at our fingertips.
      Oh no, so sorry about your coffee machine! We have a porcelain dripper that sits over the cup, and boiled water to make coffee that way. (I realize I might not be explaining this well, so hopefully you can visualize. 😁) I hope you guys are able to get back to normal with your coffee soon! 🙏☕️

  2. I’m grateful for my job. I do not like it at times but I know I am blessed beyond measure to be able to support myself and my family. And I’m super grateful for coffee too!!!

    • I agree and I understand. Sometimes my job brings stress, but overall I enjoy the work I do. And I’m so thankful for that. Thank God for our jobs! And coffee! 😂

  5. Glad you got a working coffee maker again! That’s important!!😉

    I’m thankful for subbing at the high school today in the ag room, my daughter is currently in class with me and I brought the foreign exchange student too!! A good day!!
