Gratitude Challenge 2023 – Day 14
I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken … You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. – Psalm 16:7-8, 11
Lord, we are grateful for You. We are grateful for Your counsel and instruction. We are grateful that we can keep our eyes on You. With You by our side, we will not be shaken. You make known to us the path of life. What joy we find in Your presence. And we are so thankful that You care enough to guide us with everything we face. We need only seek You. Thank You! In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
I’m grateful for the Lord’s instruction and counsel. I’m grateful to know I need Him because it helps me keep my focus in the right direction. I’m grateful we had another day with fall weather, overcast and cool. And I’m grateful for clean Christmas movies and clean Christian movies.

I ask that same question twice a week on my weekday drivetime show
Being thankful, and making a point to stop and think about something we are thankful for, can change our mood ak effectively!

Thankfulness can change so much in our lives and the lives of those people who we meet every day
I’m not brilliant at it
But I do know the power of it
Which, is perhaps, one reason I love to try and get gratitude into people’s attitude!

I’m grateful too for the Lord’s instructions and counsel and how He answers my prayers for wisdom. I’m thankful I can do things for myself like shower, get dressed, eat and drive myself to work.

I am grateful for coffee ☕️, I love my cuppa in the morning and I am grateful for a good hug, love them and they can make me feel loved, comforted, cared for by those around me.

Love the words in that verse, “even at night my heart instructs me.” Reminds me that there’s light, even in the darkness, and God is always available to us!
