The Redeemed Challenge – Day 15
Good morning! Today is Day 15 of the Redeemed Challenge! In today’s chapter of the book, we learn that if we are moldable like clay, God can turn our lives into a beautiful work of art. I really love this reminder. I picture God sitting at a Potter’s wheel, molding each of us into a beautiful work of art. It makes me want to take a step back and get out of His way, so He can mold my life into a masterpiece.

A lot of days start out good but not all of them. But God uses the good as well as the bad ones to His glory. We need to thank Him for each one knowing He is in charge and His craftmanship is perfect in quality and design and timing! I am His!!

Yes! It can be easy to forget that. When things don’t go the way we want, we think things are going “wrong.” But if we remain moldable like clay, this will help us to remain at peace, knowing God is in control. And in the end, He will create something outstanding. 🌟

I read this somewhere and thought it apt for today’s devotional
“ Just as the clay finds its highest purpose when it remains pliable in the hands of the potter, so our lives fulfill their highest purpose when we let our Potter have His way with us.”

Funny how I had almost the opposite response: Instead of stepping back, I want to help, like children so often want to do. I want my hands in the clay, helping to make it something beautiful. I don’t mind Him receiving all the credit; I just want to be a small part in adding a little beauty. The question I need to ask myself is: Will I give up my need for control to allow Him to guide me? Will I give myself over to the Master Potter and embrace His tutoring?

Perhaps by following the Lord’s guidance, we are adding beauty, in a way. For example, the Lord prompted you to write. If you had refused to follow through, the masterpiece would have fallen apart. It wouldn’t have looked the way God intended. But since you do write, the Potter can continue molding His clay into a work of art. 💜

I love how you said that we have to be flexible and go with the flow of the artist’s inspiration. Sometimes I don’t want to be flexible. I want things to go a certain way and if they don’t I want to fix them. But I have to let God mold the clay His way.
