Gratitude Challenge Day 25

Pray: Dear Father, we come to You today, not to ask for anything, but to thank You for all that we have. You bestow so many blessings upon us each and every day. Even during this turbulent year, we have so much to be thankful for. You have been by our sides. You have kept us safe and protected. You have provided for us. You have been our security. We are thankful for the many ways You have loved us. We are thankful for our families and loved ones. We are thankful to have homes to live in and food to eat. There are so many things we want to give thanks for, but we would need an endless amount of time. Oh how we look forward to spending eternity with You, so we can take that endless amount of time to extend our gratitude and praise. But until then, we will spend our days with hearts overflowing in love and thanksgiving for You. There are so many things You do in our lives, every single day, that we don’t even realize. It would astonish us if we could see all the times You worked behind the scenes to care for us. We regret to think about the countless times we have neglected to give You thanks. Yet You keep loving us, looking out for us, and guiding us. You never give up on us, Lord. Today and every day we want to give You a gift by telling You how much we appreciate You and love You. We thank You for who You are. Thank You for all You do for us. Thank You for the blessings in our lives. Thank You for Your constant love. Thank You for Your meticulous care. Thank You for being our refuge. We can never thank You enough, Lord. We rejoice in You. How great You are, God. You are worthy of all praise. We thank You and praise You in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Practice Gratitude: What are you thankful for? I am so thankful for all the blessings the Lord sends our way, every single day. I am thankful to know that God is always looking out for us and protecting us, even when we don’t realize it. And I am thankful to praise our great God.

Praise. Here is today’s song! Enjoy! How Great is Our God by Chris Tomlin

  1. I’m grateful for the love of God and the love of people.

Today I have the privilege of serving Thanksgiving dinner to the homeless with the City Rescue Mission. Hunger doesn’t take a day off for the pandemic.

Danny Gokey is so right! Keep it real simple, love God and love people if you want to change the world. Our world needs a heart change that only God can accomplish ❤️🙏🏽

  2. I too am thankful for the many many blessing He bestows on us that we even may not realise or sometimes take for granted.
For the limits He either places in our lives or which He has incorporated into our being because they are good for us.
For the blessing of a spouse who loves the Lord too.
    Blessings my friend 💙

    • Oh those are good ones. You made me think. Limits are good and a blessing, but sometimes we don’t realize it and perceive them as obstacles. So thank you for pointing that out. And yes I agree that it is also a blessing to have a spouse who loves the Lord.
I am thankful for you, Manu. Thank you so much for being with me on this journey. And thank you for being a friend. And thank you for all the ways you have helped me grow, through your own blog and through your comments on my posts.

You have helped me grow too – this gratitude challenge for example has been such a blessing to me and I would not have done something like this if you did not take the initiative for it.
