Every day is a gift!
Pray: Dear God, this gratitude challenge has been gently shaping us over the past few weeks and we thank You for that. We have found that we are expressing thanksgiving more and more. But, Lord, we would like to take it a step further. We also want to allow our actions to speak gratitude as well. We don’t just want to say the words “thank you” with our mouths. We also want the things we do to display that we are grateful. So, Father, please show us opportunities throughout the day today where we can do that. Help us to see times when we could chip in and lend a hand. We want our actions to be for Your honor and Your glory. And when we live in gratitude, that will help us to keep things in perspective.
Father, today we ask for healing. Many of us and many of our loved ones need divine healing. We pray for healing from every ailment, every ache and pain, and every disease. We command sickness and pain to flee, in the name of Jesus. It says in Exodus 15:26 that You are the Lord who heals us. And it says in Exodus 23:25 that You will take sickness away from our midst. God, we claim these promises found in Your word. We turn to You in obedience, so that we can have complete access to You and Your promises. Thank You, Lord. You are so faithful and trustworthy. We are thankful for who You are. Thank You so much, for Your guidance and strength. We have so much to be thankful for, with the love of Jesus in our lives. We sing hallelujah, for our wonderful Savior. We shout Your praise, for You are great. In Jesus’ holy name we pray, Amen.
Practice Gratitude: What are you thankful for? I am thankful for opportunities to express gratitude, not just in words, but in actions as well. I am thankful for our Savior. I am thankful we can sing His praises. I am thankful that we can live in a way that honors and glorifies God. And I am thankful that our God is our ultimate physician and healer.
Praise. Here is today’s song! Enjoy! Worship Medley performed by Tauren Wells
Please share in the comments if today’s reading spoke to you. Or you may add a prayer, your gratitude list, praise, etc.

I join you in the prayer for healing for a friend.
May our actions speak out gratitude towards the Lord.
I am thankful that I can turn to the Lord when I feel anxious.
Thankful that He is a God who heals
And thankful especially today that He gave me some rest ( was feeling drained)
Blessings my friend. I am enjoying doing these daily gratitude posts so much π€π

Oh thank you so much for letting me know you are enjoying the posts. I am so glad. I am enjoying the challenge too, and the extra fellowship with you and those that comment. It brings tears to my eyes, because of the beauty of friendship. It makes me all the more thankful that God has brought us together this way.
I will be sure to say a prayer for your friend. I like the things you said you were thankful for. And I am glad you got some blessed rest. Blessings to you too, dear friend! β€οΈ

I so agree with you. Fellowship that we share with our love for the Lord, to grow in our spiritual journeys as we share through posts is really special to me and I am thankful we have connected.
Thank you for your prayers dear friend π.

β…to allow our actions to speak gratitude as wellβ This line really hit me because I am sure my actions, or even my demeanor doesnβt necessarily display gratitude. Thank you for the opportunity to focus on that!

I can probably say the same! So I likely need to work on that too! I am glad you got some insight out of the post. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. ππ

I love the idea of showing ways that we are grateful and not just saying thank you with words. I’m joining you in prayer to heal the sick!
Today I’m grateful for a God that loves me so much that He sent His only son to die for me (which also breaks my heart because as a mother I just couldn’t imagine!)

Yes, I fear sometimes I might say one thing with my mouth and another thing with my actions! Thank you for standing in prayer. There are so many people who need healing! And I love what you said you were thankful for. So very true! Blessings my friend! β€οΈβοΈπ

I’m thankful for my funny little Nokia phone, for texting, and for “Stop” that has ended many an unsolicited text. π

Judy, I am sorry that somehow I missed this comment! I don’t have a Nokia, so I can’t speak to that one. But I too am thankful for texting and the ability to stop unsolicited messages! π

My Nokia is not a smart phone or even a flip phone. Yep, it’s even earlier. I can only do calls and texts. π
