Every day is a gift!
Pray: Dear Lord, today our hearts are overflowing with thanksgiving. Instead of dwelling on our mistakes and regrets, we are just so very thankful for all the second chances You give us. Sometimes we say things that we later regret. Or we might do something we wish we could take back. Other times we are hesitant to speak up. And then there are times when we just don’t know what we should do. But You have give us new days and new opportunities to rectify situations like these. Too often we focus on our faults, instead of focusing on Your grace. God, we are so very thankful that Your mercies are new every morning. Help us to never forget this miraculous truth. Each new day, You give us new opportunities to draw closer to You. Each new day, You give us new opportunities to spread love in our lives. Each new day, You give us a chance to embrace joy and peace. And You never stop loving us, Lord. You never give up on us. For that we are so very thankful.
God, as we embrace this day of rest, we ask for You to help us feel refreshed. The circumstances of life leave us feeling exhausted. But it says in Psalm 23:3 that You restore our souls. What a comforting promise that is, Lord. Today we claim that promise as we turn our eyes to You and rest in Your healing presence. We are so thankful to know that when we spend time with You, You strengthen us and rejuvenate us. We give thanks for this powerful truth. And we give our thanks In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Practice Gratitude: What are you thankful for? I am thankful for second chances. I am thankful for a new day to live with love, joy, and peace. I am thankful that God never gives up on us and never stops loving us. I am thankful for the promise in Psalm 23:3 that God restores our souls.

I’m thankful for memories. Some are good, some not great; but the all serve to help make me the person I am today. As I remember my grandmother and the day she forgot who I was, that’s one of those not so good days. Nonetheless, she was as sweet to me as if she remembered calling me “Pa-Na” all my life 🥰

Yes that must have been very hard when your grandmother didn’t remember you. ☹️ Memories are something to be grateful for. And you are right, even the not so good ones helped shape us. Thanks for sharing that, Renee! ❤️

I am thankful for second chances too.
For the joy that can be found in knowing people with different personalities. Although that is not always easy, I have come to appreciate what they add in my life ( but to be honest – not always though , but I am learning).
For the blessing of various musical talents that we see and hear. With no skill in singing- I appreciate people who can sing and create music – worship music especially.
Blessings my friend 💙

Your list is wonderful. Your second point made me think because too often I believe people are quick to dismiss someone who does things or says things differently. But you are right, different personalities can add to our lives in a unique way.
And I very much agree with your last point too. I am not skilled in this area either. So it amazes me how people can create such beautiful music.
Blessings to you too, my friend! ❤️

I’m grateful for being able to watch “The Chosen” over and over, for church in person, for God’s hope.

“Too often we focus on our faults…” That’s so true! I find myself doing that often, instead of focusing on the good.
