Every day is a gift!
Pray: Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for another beautiful day as we continue on this journey. We have noticed more joy in our lives over the past several weeks. One key is that we have been spending more time with You, in prayer, gratitude, and praise. What a treasure each day has been, as we have drawn closer to You. And this has shown us how much more of You we want in our lives, on a daily basis. Father, we seek You, we want You, and we need You. Every moment of every day, we want to be aware of Your presence at all times. We really want to know You, Lord. You are always fully available to us. But many times we do not give You our all. Our eyes focus on the wrong things at times. So, Lord, we make You our number one priority. Each day we will set time aside for You. We will sit in Your presence. We will treasure the gift of the Bible. And we will make prayer, gratitude, and praise a part of our daily lives. Lord, we need You in our lives. And we know that having more of You means that we have to make the effort to give You more of us. Thank You, God. Help us to always remain vigilant when it comes to spending time with You and drawing closer to You. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Practice Gratitude: What are you thankful for? I am thankful for the time I get to spend with the Lord. I am thankful for the power in His Holy Word, The Bible. I am thankful for the privilege and power of prayer. I am thankful for the beauty found in praise. And I am so thankful to know that God is always there.
Praise: Here is today’s song! Enjoy! Know You by Koryn Hawthorne

I treasure you for writing this book and agreeing to go on this journey again this year. I know it wasn’t your plan, but your heart was willing❤️. Thank you!!
I treasure God’s Word. It saw me through a very dark place in my life. I contemplated ending my own life to stop the pain I felt deep in my soul after losing Susie and Mom. I see my Pastor will soon transition too. My heart is broken, but God has allowed me to see things through my spiritual journey that help me to process his transition in a different manner.
I treasure my mother. She’s the best gift in my life, next to my husband, son and grandson. My mother and I were SO much alike. I could even fool her friends over the phone that they were speaking with Mom. 😂😂😂. Yes, there’s still a little devilment in me, but it’s ALL in good fun 🤩. I’ve recently learned my mother kept a secret from me. I told her SO many times how I hated secrets, but she had her own reasons for not sharing it with me. Now I play Nancy Drew to put all the pieces together from the secret she kept…and I’m 60 years old!!! Nonetheless, I love my mother more than life itself. I treasure her as she loved diamond. She was truly a priceless 💎 in my ❤️.

And I treasure you for nudging me to do this challenge. You are right, I didn’t plan on it. But I have felt God here with us every day on this journey and I have truly cherished each moment. I am so grateful you asked me to do this, because I would have missed out on such a beautiful month if you hadn’t. Thank you!!
And Renee, I am so very sorry for all the heartache you have gone through. I am so glad you didn’t follow through on your thoughts because that would have left all of us heartbroken too. I can definitely understand the depression that came with the loss though. I never met your Mom but I know she was a beautiful soul. And I also know you will see her again. What a glorious day that will be. I love you and I am praying for you, my friend. ❤️

I am thankful for the power in praise and worship.
For the blessing of time I am given to spend in the word.
For the freedom to worship, we forget that it is not the case everywhere.
Blessings my friend 💙

I’m grateful to be able to work in the yard, to have enough strength, to take in stride the scratches that come with it, for the sunshine that was comfortable and nourishing.
