Good morning! Today is Day 29 of the Redeemed Challenge! In today’s chapter of the book, we read that we have been set free. Maybe you know that when you gave your heart to Jesus, that meant you were free. But I think many Christians still struggle with allowing this truth to seep within their soul. For those who believe and accept Jesus into their lives, they have the ultimate freedom. Freedom from sin, freedom from death, freedom from the chains of the enemy. We were once enslaved to our flesh and sinful nature. But our old selves died on the cross with Jesus, and we became new creatures. Reflecting on how we have been set free makes me feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. What an awesome gift we have! But that’s not all. As Christians we also have free access to our Father. We can call on Him at any moment of any day, and He will always answer. How amazing that we can go to Him in prayer at any given time! Take a moment today to thank God for your true freedom through Jesus!

Good morning! Today is Day 28 of the Redeemed Challenge! In today’s chapter of the book, we read that God has made us as clean as snow. Sometimes we put ourselves down and we criticize ourselves for our mistakes. But God doesn’t see you the way you see yourself. If today’s verse doesn’t really strike you as all that amazing, maybe I can help explain it a little better. The day after it has snowed, when all the clouds have moved out, the sun hitting snow is so bright that you have to put sunglasses on. Thanks to Jesus, we sparkle and shine.

Good morning! Today is Day 27 of the Redeemed Challenge! Unfortunately, we live in a broken world. And this means that we will all face difficulties at times. But in today’s chapter of the book, we can see that no matter what we are facing, God will be there holding us up and strengthening us. Whatever you are facing today, do not be discouraged. Do not be dismayed. Keep pressing forward. There is no mountain too big for God. He will see you through whatever you are facing. He will hold you up when you don’t have the strength to hold yourself up. He’s got this. And He’s got you.

Good morning! Today is Day 26 of the Redeemed Challenge! In today’s chapter of the book, we see that when we gave our hearts to the Lord, we became righteous through our faith in Jesus. Sometimes we try to earn our salvation or work to gain God’s approval. But the good news is that we don’t have to strive for God’s approval because we are already seen as a treasure to God. If you have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, then God already approves of you, accepts you, and loves you.

Good morning! Today is Day 25 of the Redeemed Challenge! What a powerful and amazing privilege we have to be able to pray to God. In today’s chapter of the book, we are reminded that God hears our prayers. Whatever it is you are dealing with today, bring them to the Lord. Many times we view prayer as a last resort. But it should be our first step in any battle we are facing. Prayer is so very powerful. And God hears all of His children’s prayers. We might get discouraged when He doesn’t answer a prayer in the way we hoped. But that doesn’t mean He didn’t hear you or answer you. We have to trust that He knows what is best in our lives.

Good morning! Today is Day 24 of the Redeemed Challenge! In today’s chapter of the book, we learn that we have the mind of Christ. The next time you are tempted to berate yourself for not thinking clearly, remind yourself of this truth. In my home, we have numerous Bible verses on our bathroom mirror, and this is one of them. My husband and I will sometimes make negative comments about having a bad memory, so this reminds us that we have the mind of Christ. The next time you are tempted to say that you make poor decisions, you aren’t smart, or you have a bad memory – remember you have the mind of Christ.

But in today’s chapter of the book, we read that we have been adopted into God’s family. You are never alone and never forgotten, for you belong to the King of Kings. God wants you. Think about that for a moment. The King of Kings. The Lord of Lords. The Great I Am. Almighty God wants you. He has adopted you into His family with great pleasure.

Many of us tend to focus on what we perceive as flaws. But in today’s chapter of the book, we read that we were made in God’s own image. Hold onto this truth the next time you are tempted to put yourself down. Most of us have a magnifying glass on each and every one of our own flaws. We put ourselves down and only focus on the things we wish were different. But remember – God created you and He doesn’t make mistakes.

Good morning! Today is Day 21 of the Redeemed Challenge! In today’s chapter of the book, we read that nothing can separate us from God’s love. What an uplifting verse that give us encouragement with whatever we are facing today. We all face scary things in life. Just because we have given our lives to God doesn’t mean we won’t have struggles. Our enemy will attack us in different ways, trying to bring us down. But we need to remember that God is always there. We are never alone. And nothing can ever separate you from the love of the Lord.

Good morning! Today is Day 20 of the Redeemed Challenge! In today’s chapter of the book, we read about the fact that we are forgiven. This is something that we know is true as Christians. Yet we don’t always allow that truth to sink deep into our hearts. I hope you can hold this truth in your heart today. If you are a Christian, then you are forgiven. Allow this word “forgiven” to release you of whatever regrets you are holding onto. Whatever burdens you are gripping, let them go. Once you do, you will feel a weight lifted off your shoulders. You were never meant to carry those things around. The price has already been paid by the blood of Jesus.
